Our Values

We are committed to living out the command of Jesus.

“Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”

Follow Jesus

This is the most important call of a person’s life. It’s the greatest call. It’s the beginning and the fullness of our relationship with God. When we follow Jesus, we follow His life, His words, and we seek to become more like Him.

Connect With Others

The church is a community. A group of people that live life together. You were never meant to be alone, and at TrueLight Church you won't be.

Discover Purpose

Everyone has a God given purpose in His Kingdom. It is the will of God, and part of the values of TrueLight Church to help you discover that purpose.

Lead Others To Christ

Be a disciple. Make a disciple. Jesus said that we are to let our light shine to others that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in Heaven. This is one of many ways that we are to lead other to Christ.

Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

  • God

The Lord our God is One Lord, and we are to serve only Him. He has revealed Himself as Father in Creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in regeneration. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man.

    (See Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 9:6, John 14:6-9, Colossians 2:9, 1 Timothy 3:16)

  • The Bible

The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the sole authority for salvation and Christian living.

    (See 2 Timothy 3:15-17)

  • Sin and Salvation

Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by the grace of God, through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

    (See Romans 3:23-25; 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9)

  • The Gospel

The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus lived a perfect life, above reproach, and then died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:8, 1 Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance (resurrection).

    (See 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Acts 2:4; 37-39, Romans 6:3-4)

  • Christian Living

As Christians, we are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We are to love others as ourselves. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit are for the church today.

    (See Mark 12:28-31, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Hebrews 12:14, 1 Corinthians 12:8-10)

  • The Future

Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death.

    (See 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 20:11-15)
